I can't draw like he does, but he's inspiring! When I read it on our tangler's blog, I was in a state of shock. I was so sad to hear of it. But thank you very much for the information.

I love your tile with the crayon. I have one of the big sets of crayons here (96 colors) that I won't let my granddaughters use until they are old enough to take care of things, so only 2 of the 5 have been able to use them so far. But I'm not a mean grandma, I bought the others their own basic set to use at Grandma's house...lol. Anyway, your tile looks great and I love the comparisons with the other tiles using the same string. I guess I should start trying to use strings.LezliBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07207801337395514834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3436474541081163972.post-18652056410568201762015-02-28T10:57:46.647-08:002015-02-28T10:57:46.647-08:00Your tile using the crayon really turned out very ...Your tile using the crayon really turned out very nice!

I am so sorry to hear of David's loss. I have always love to color so there are times that I join my lil kiddos in 'good ole' fashioned coloring in coloring books.
Crayons are very different to work with than the Micron, that's for sure! I feel so bad for him with this loss. His wife was a very sweet lady, her heart was her family. He immediately stood out to me as a very kind person once I started working on these challenges.

That is a very interesting idea to look at several versions of different tiles that emerge from the same string. After I am a CZT, I might try that with a class. It immediately, "explains" Zentangle. No right or wrong. It is what each of us decides it is.
PS: I love your photo of the sharpener on the back of the 64 pack of crayolas. I was always so happy to have a box of those, partly because of the sharpener. And yes----there is that evocative smell. :)Suzanne Fluhr https://www.blogger.com/profile/15164389928331501665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3436474541081163972.post-46148194622650748852015-02-26T07:28:15.935-08:002015-02-26T07:28:15.935-08:00Sorry to hear of David's loss and hope everyth...Sorry to hear of David's loss and hope everything works out well for him.
